How Can I Get To and From Bedfordshire?

By Train

From St Pancras International, take the Thameslink or Great Northern trains to reach popular stops in Bedfordshire, including Luton and Bedford. Trains leave the station every 15 to 20 minutes. Get on a northbound train, and stop at Luton (not Luton Airport Parkway).

By Bus

You can travel to Luton by bus from 06:00 to 23:00, every hour, seven days a week. You can purchase a National Express bus ticket directly from the driver or at the ticket office in Central Bus Station. Tickets cost around £20.

You can also go direct to Luton via the public coach service; National Express buses leave Central Bus Station to Terminals 1, 2 and 3, and also from outside the terminal building to Terminals 4 and 5.

By Car

If you prefer to drive, you can take the M1, which is the fastest route (despite the usual traffic), or the M25, reaching Bedford in approximately two hours.
