Admissions

Reading this page means you have taken the courageous first step in accepting you have a problem and in seeking professional help. Before embarking on rehab experience, you may be feeling nervous about what to expect. This is perfectly natural. Liberty House offers a warm, friendly, and caring environment, and we will do all we can to ensure your stay with us is as comfortable and productive as possible. Our only goal is to assist you in getting well and freeing you from the pain of addiction.

What happens on arrival?

Upon arriving at Liberty House, you will be welcomed by a member of our clinical team. They will be able to answer any questions you may have about your stay. You will be allocated a comfortable room and shown around the clinic so that you know where to find everything you need.

We appreciate that most people come to us in crisis, often confused and intoxicated. We will keep your first day with us as straightforward as possible, so you have time to adjust to your new surroundings. It is important to us that you feel comfortable and not overwhelmed when you first arrive.

Will I receive a medical assessment?

Shortly after arriving at Liberty House, you will be assessed by our medical practitioners. There, you will receive a full medical assessment of your treatment needs. A detox will be prescribed if required, which will be reviewed and monitored throughout your stay. Our medical practitioner will also check to see if you are taking prescribed medication to ensure that your health requirements are met. Additional medicines and vitamins may be prescribed to support your recovery process.

Liberty House is a Care Quality Commission (CQC) addiction rehab facility; this means that we adhere to rigorous policies and guidelines regarding your safety, treatment, and medical care always.

What type of therapy will I receive?

Within the first couple of days of rehab treatment, you will meet and work with our counsellors, who will work with you to pinpoint any underlying issues and problems that have ignited and spurred your addiction. Next, our counsellors will devise an entire care plan for your treatment. All aspects of your treatment needs must be fully met. This means that we will address your well-being from various angles encompassing your medical, physical, spiritual, emotional, and social requirements. Finally, as the fog from your addiction begins to clear, our therapists will be able to steer you towards healthier coping mechanisms, so you maintain your recovery beyond rehab.

What should I bring with me to rehab?

We want you to focus all your mental and physical energy on your healing, so we aim to take care of your everyday needs as much as possible; you’ll receive three meals a day, all of which will be prepared by our in-house chef. We will accommodate any allergies or dietary requirements, so you get the best nourishment possible. We have our housekeeper who’ll ensure you get fresh bedding. You may bring books and electronic items to keep you entertained during your free time.

We provide the ideal environment for you to recover.

We know addiction strikes us all in different ways. We also know that recovery looks different for everyone. Fortunately, Liberty House offers a diverse recovery programme for everyone.
