Free/NHS Addiction Treatment Options in Buckinghamshire

This option can be accessed in your local community, whether that’s Buckingham, Wendover, Beaconsfield, or anywhere else in the county.

You can access free NHS addiction treatment via a referral from your GP or even a self-referral. Keep in mind that the quality of addiction treatment you receive will be determined solely by the NHS. This means you may not have access to the quality of treatment you desire if going via the NHS.

Also, there’s usually a waiting list for individuals seeking addiction treatment on the NHS. It’s therefore unlikely you will get prompt addiction treatment this way. The length of any prospective waiting list is typically determined by the demand for NHS addiction treatment in your area at that particular time.
